Holidays 2013 - What's on Your Wishlist This Year?

Thanks to my new Capital One Mastercard, my holiday gift shopping is 60% done. 
A bag of pot.
Most people I know are about out of the homegrown stuff by now, apparently the summer didn't have the right kind of weather this year
I have a few paperbacks on my wishlist and I could do with a good sieve. I'm tempted to buy a webcam so that I can skype with my friends all over the globe.
Donated my Christmas gratification to the Miles For Miracles programme of the Boston Children's Hospital as I think it unfair that little children should suffer under the economic crisis.
And I donated a week of work to the Hero Rat Project as an interpretor and translator. I think it's a very worthy cause. There's hardly anything more terrible than landmines. Wouldn't want innocent people step on them. Particularly not children. It's a shame that landmines are still not globally outlawed.

*hugs* look at it this way: now there are 2 people more donating than would have before you asked your friends. Besides, the other 3 might perhaps do both: donate and give you a present.I have asked the few people I normally get and receive presents from to donate to ShelterBox rather of buying anything for me. Out of the five people I asked only two agreed to do so
My list is small. Smash Season 2, Les Miserables (2012), Lincoln, Atonement, Dale Peterson's The Moral Lives of Animals, and Season 2 of Star Trek (remastered). And Star Trek I and II on DVD (I'm still working off the VHS).
But I didn't ask for any of that stuff. I will get it as I get the money. That's my shopping list with whatever discretionary funds I have.

I don't have much on my list this year, but I dropped a hint to my parents that I wanted a few of the Great Courses focusing on cooking and baking.

Cool. I ordered their "Science of Sleep" series to gain a better understanding on the subject. There was a lot of good information, though the professor's presentation was rather sleepy.
