bbailey861, I sympathize about the kitty vs. Christmas tree problem. This is our first Christmas with our cat, Violet, and she is being one bad little lady when it comes to our tree. Thankfully, she has her own room that she stays in when we're not at home, but when we let her out, we have to constantly watch her around the tree. It's just too tempting with its lights and dangling ornaments! She thinks we are such unreasonable humans for not letting her climb it, I'm sure...

Jeri, they only all go off at once when you initially plug the string of lights (that they are on ), in. After that, they only "speak" when you push their button.

Oh, yeah; I know. Same with mine; but it must be quite a greeting with all the ones you have.

I see you too have lost the port disruptor on the ole' Bird of Prey. Anyone else? Is this a design flaw. I had to superglue my back this year.

HOLY CRAP~ i didn't even realize mine had snapped off! I wonder how long it's been missing.

One good thing is that when it's not the holiday season most of the ornaments can be found for a song on ebay. Maybe you can replace yours when the prices go down and then use your broken one the way i use the extra one i have...it hangs on my car's rear view mirror!

Good eye, and yes ebay is the way to go. I scored big time last year with the original 1991 Enterprise. It was the only one I had been missing - for years - and wasn't going to buy it even on ebay because the going price was well over $200. Well, I got lucky. I don't know if it was because it was off season or just because no one was watching the site for a spell, or if the interest just died down, but I got it for just over 50 bucks. Incidentally, I had to replace my Bird o' Prey about 4 years ago. Nothing broke off it, but the electronics stopped working on it. I buy them - or rather get them all for Christmas every year now - it has become a tradition.

And Randi, the little Trek TVs are the best!! I am trying to track a set down. Anyone knows of where I can find them, please let me know.

One year I decorated the tree with Micro Machines Star Trek ships, plus some related space stuff. Lost all the Micro Machines somewhere a couple years later.

I may have some pics. Will try to dig them up.

Those are great decorations you got there Yeomen Randi, I love those! I decied to decaratie my tree Star Trek style as well. I recently bought a Spock Star Tree Topper from startrek.com site. I also bought a stocking that has Spock on it, a figure of Spock with tribbles all aound him. And I also got a Spock & Kirk figure ornienmets which are on my tree. I'm goning to by the other Star Trek Hallmark orniments later, that way I decaraite the whole tree like that. My tree is a Star Trek theme with the divison colors Gold,Blue & Red garland and orniments with my two orniments Kirk & Spock and Spock tree topper. I might bring down my standups of new Kirk & Spock down with my orginals of them as well for Christmas. I will take a picture of it some time and post it soon as I can.

OMG! just over $50!! You're not kidding, that was a SONG for the '91. Good for you!!! That is awesome. I checked the BoP that hangs from my rear view mirror and saw that it too is missing the disrupters! GAH!

However Voyager at some point must have been ambushed by the Borg...

Did anything in the "saucer" section ever light up? As the deflector dish is the only thing that lights up on it now.

Will do. I decied to do that idea as I never had or did a Star Trek theme for Christmas before. I'm thinking of doing it again sometime. I started buying the Star Trek orinments, I like to have the whole tree filled like that once I got them all. So far the only Star Trek orinments I have is Kirk,Spock,McCoy,Kirk with tribbles,WOK,glass orinmenet with new Kirk & Spock on it,TOS Enterprise. The next orinments I'm gonna get is the Transporter chamber,Enterprise refit,Comnicatior,Phaser,Data,Worf,Riker,Picard,Enterprise D & E, and if they release STXI movie orniments I'll get those too.

Seriously, I am a little envious. I do not have any such ornaments. One of our board members is the creator of most of those ornaments. Perhaps you could ask him (I don't recall his username, sorry). Search for Hallmark ornaments on here to find him.
