Just watched it for the first time and i'm greatly disapointed. Every single bit of action in the film I already saw before even watching it, it was all shown in the flipping trailer so when I finally watched the film i'd practically already seen it. The acting in the film by the super woman was atrocious especially the part where she says "call me crazy one more time", talk about a cringe inducing line.
I also had a serious problem with the storyline, why the hell would she throw Hancock through the fridge and the wall of the house and then tell him not to say anything to her husband, if she was that bothered about keeping her secret how about NOT throwing him through the fricking fridge and wall and leaving him in ignorance of your abilities!! it would have been a much better idea to just have Hancock witness her do something with her abilities.
I liked the idea of him becoming mortal the longer he's in proximity to her but that pretty much leaves him invulnerable as long as he's far away from her so if there is any sequels how can any bad guy beat him?
Another point is when he got shot, he'd left her at her house and was in a shop buying booze miles from the culdisac where she lived so he should have been invulnerable, we see later in the hospital that he only has to go a few blocks down to become invincible again and yet he got shot in the shop? bad writing guys!!
Another beef I had was with that annoying little french punk Michelle (that nose vibration bit got my goat), if he'd thrown him up in the air like that and caught him like that he wouldn't be walking away, the kid would be suffering fractured ribs when he landed and any other injuries caused by the initial high g-forces from such a fast acceleration.
Another beef I have is the whole fricking tornado sequence, where the hell did they come from? does she have the ability to create them? or is it just something that happens when two immortals fight? i'm confused and also what are the odds that after the fight they'd land just outside the building that her husband is lecturing in? and does he have super binocular vision or what? you mean to tell me he saw it was her? don't make me laugh.
I give it a 5 out of 10. I hope they do better if there's a sequal.
