History Hunt - another goodie we won't see outside the UK

While everyone was going gaga, or bitching (depending what side of the Atlantic you're on) about the Doctor Who Adventure Games video games, the BBC quietly (must have been quiet as none of the usual news pages caught it) announced that a standalone game featuring Karen Gillan as Amy Pond is coming soon.

It's called The History Hunt and it sounds like Amy's version of Attack of the Graske.

That's all great, but you'll forgive me for not getting excited in the least, since we know this won't be available outside the UK and they won't bother putting it on a DVD (just as they never released Attack of the Graske as a set-top). And since this isn't part of the Adventure Games scheme, the odds of an "international commercial release" are probably as good as me winning the lottery...

I think missing out on Attack of the Graske is more a blessing than a curse.

"OH NO! I won't get to solve puzzles designed to be easy for three-year-olds!"

I don't see what the big deal is. If it's like Graske, then it will eventually be available to play on the official website. (Graske was UK only for a time, but it eventually was made available for everyone else to play.)

The last bit off this should open up today.
