Everybody needs to CHILL OUT!
We understand that "Regeneration" is the most important episode of ENT ever. And it is either the greatest episode of Trek ever produced or the most atrocious piece of torture inflicted on Trek fans, ever. The appearance of writers and producers in the discussion forums is totally a sign of the coming apocalypse. And everytime someone disagrees with you it is a matter of life and death for you to prove that they're an idiot and you're a genius. Yadda. Yadda. Yadda.
Folks, I know it's cliche, but it's true. It's just a TV show. All this overexcitement is kind of out of proportion to, y'know, reality. Please, remember that this is a DISCUSSION FORUM. Other people are supposed to disagree with you. The fact that someone may have an opinion perhaps diametrically opposed to your own is not cause for a hissy fit. The opportunity to talk to people of varying opinions, perspectives, and arguments is why this forum exists. IDIC. Not everyone is going to agree with you. And that's ok.
Please, let's try to behave like adults. There's no reason why anyone on this board can't have a civil discussion with someone of opposing views. The BBS rules require that of everyone. And the BBS rules will be enforced. This goes for everyone: Bashers, Gushers, Fans, Non-Fans, Reed Ragers, Tucker Haters, Democrats, Republicans, Sneeches with Stars on their bellies, and Sneeches with none.
On a side note, we've noticed an uptick in people using oh-so-clever monikers for TPTB. These include, but are not limited to little slights like calling them "Dickie Berman and Brannon Braggert." Congratualtions on your sixth grade debating skills. Folks, this type of name calling stopped being funny about the fiftieth time you posted it. It's childish and makes you sound like an idiot. Stop it.
