I got banned for posting these in the trek literature forum and not in here....I didn't know....seems like an extreme reaction to be honest, gonna question them in moderator actions.

ANYHOO

What do you think of my episode ideas? I did them for Voyager as I find its pretty easy to think up ideas for the show since the characters are already underdeveloped.

Reflections/Season 2

I've always loved the idea of the episode teaser being an exact reenactment of what happened during the pilot and the attack on the array except in the teaser another plan is followed which managed to both destroy the array and have Voyager delivered home. Then Janeway says "Computer, end program" looking dismayed and leaving he holodeck.

After the teaser, we see a funeral for three crew members who were killed on an away mission by Vidiians who managed to escape and Harry is still recovering in sickbay from a battle with them.
Janeway's behaviour becomes increasingly erratic and is
becomes increasingly torn up over her decisions made during the pilot and the situation in general and grows frantic, overworking the engineering team and putting in long hours there herself to get the engines at maximum efficiency and keeping the ship at warp 9.5. When Janeway decides that they should not go off course to help a civilian transport ship issuing an SOS beacon, the crew know something is really wrong.
The crew get Chakotay to have a heart to heart with her and she reveals the problem to him. He enlists the help of Kes and Neelix (who use the holodeck again for this) to remind her of all the good she has done so far in the quadrant and that as they have learned more about Federation history, the more they realise their situation is not so different and it is part of a Starfleet member's job to sarcifice themselves for the greater good (citing cool examples, ooh continuity etc.) and cites mistakes made by even the greatest starfleet captains and admirals (with some references made to Kirk and Picard too for some fun).
After they've cheered up Janeway and made her realise that she should not leave those trapped on the transport ship to salve her own conscience about her mistakes but rather that she should do the best with her situation, they go to the transport ship. Janeway, seeing the survivors of the radiation leak on the transport ship and the young children and such is touched.
She walks into the holodeck and deletes the program from the memorybanks.

Subplot- Harry and the Doctor argue over what it means to be a Starfleet officer, Harry focusing on the “duty” that they must perform no matter what while the Doctor talks more about personal freedom and self-expression.
Once out of sickbay, we realize Harry’s confidence has been somewhat shaken and Harry and Tom discuss the new opportunities of life on Voyager. Harry begins to regain his initial optimism and begins to see the long trip home as home thinking of it not as fulfilling his “duty” but as an opportunity for personal growth and exploration. In his final scene of the episode, we see him start to personalize his Spartan quarters.

Broken Ties/Season 7

Voyager stops at Orizon 5 – a temperate tropical planet, like Risa- for shore leave.
Most of the senior crew beam down to a tropical resort for their shore leave. Seven is hesitant to go down but with some persuading by Neelix, she agrees to go down one night (in normal clothes!) to a limbo competition that Neelix organized (introducing the whole world to limbo!).
Seven doesn’t take part in the limbo competition and stands by the side looking awkward, a man approaches her (Irin) and tries to make small talk and she gives him the cold shoulder naturally.
Later on in the night, Seven is wondering along the beach alone when he approaches her. Taking her by surprise she flips him over onto the sand, realizing her mistake she chides him for sneaking up on him and tells him that he’s very insistent. They get to talking and the camera zooms out.
The next day Tom and B’Ellana joke with her over her unease at the party and assure her she doesn’t need to come that night but she surprises them and tell them that she will come.
The doctor bugs her all night by hanging around and Seven grows increasingly agitated that she can’t find the man from the night before. Eventually she spots him from the balcony outside the resort restaurant and walks over. The doctor spots them together once he realizes Seven is gone and looks dismayed.
The next night, Seven looks for Irin again and goes to his room where they had slipped off to the night before. She sees him with another woman and leaves quickly. She later returns and begins to trash his room. Someone at the resort finds her and Seven along with the rest of the Voyager crew are told to leave the resort. Janeway is angry at Seven but Seven won’t tell her what happened, Janeway sends her to the doctor for a checkup thinking that it might be some malfunction in her cortical node (or some bullshit).
Shortly after Seven’s checkup begins, the Doctor reveals he knows what made her lash out, that it was her anger over finding Irin with another woman and that it is only natural. Seven complains that she doesn’t want to feel those emotions anymore and that she feels foolish for even letting herself get close to Irin and that she will never let it happen again. The Doctor explains that its part of being human to have your heart broken sometimes and to not always get what you want no matter how right you feel it is.
The Doctor agrees that he will not tell anyone about the incident and will tell Janeway it was a simple malfunction of her *insert borg technobable*.
So he makes Seven feel better somewhat and looks longingly at her as she exits the sickbay.
Subplot
While in the resort Neelix is reminded of the beach resort (from season 3) and therefore Kes.
He walks to the holodeck and pulls up the old beach resort holoprogram. Tom walks into the holodeck complaining that he had reserved the time before recognizing the old program and reminisces with Neelix.
Neelix becomes quite emotional and reveals that he’s been feeling empty for a while now and that he isn’t so sure that Voyager really is the place for him- he misses being with other Talaxians and is sad about the prospect of being alone for the rest of Voyager’s trip noting that no one in the crew is suitable for him.
Tom is lost for words and reminds Neelix that while it would be difficult for them all to say goodbye to him, that maybe one day Neelix might just leave Voyager if he feels the time is right but jokes that the resort they’re at probably isn’t the best place to find a wife and bring up a family. Neelix looks thoughtful and leaves the holodeck.

If you were "banned," how are you managing to post? I just checked that thread in the Trek lit forum, and was opened and closed just today, so that must have been the shortest ban on record.

If they did, it was one reeeeeeeally short ban. Emnabtond posted in Trek Lit yesterday, and he was allowed to post here yesterday, too, so...

I wonder if it was a warning rather than a ban? Or maybe the ban was rescinded.
