Hey, I never noticed that before....

Is there a tutorial somewhere regarding image linking on the new board software? The first time I went to do it, being careful not to hotlink, it looked wrong compared to what everyone else apparently does. IOW, I'm clueless as usual.;) Thx, Digits.

Premium members can directly upload photos to their posts.

Otherwise, I’d recommend a free hosting site. I use Imgur, and it works fine. Each photo will have a button to create an address that will show the photo. You can copy and paste easily.

Gotcha, thanks. When I've uploaded directly (didn't realize that was a benefit - nice!) or used Imgur, my pictures have taken up about half or maybe 60% of the width of the post, while everyone else's stretch nicely and prettily across the full width. Any idea how to solve that, while "I have you?" ;)

The easiest thing with TrekCore screencaps is to just paste us the URL, and we can see your point that way. It's what I usually do.

If I had to guess I’d say that’s reflective of the size of the image, not anything to do with the board.

I had a sudden epiphany that Zarabeth wore a hand-me-down costume from Cloud William's girlfriend. The reason I never noticed it before is that it isn't true:

Still worth checking, though. I discovered that two other Yang girls wore the same design as the girlfriend: a crudely cut two-piece, dark brown hide, with the top going over the right shoulder. Not a ton of originality there:

Wasn't her being sent back to the ice age a punishment?

ETA: or eliminating a problem-
ZARABETH: Even your name is strange. Forgive me. I've never seen anyone who looks like you. Why are you here? Are you prisoners too?
SPOCK: Prisoners?
ZARABETH: This is one of the places Zor Kahn sends people when he wants them to disappear. Didn't you come in through the time portal?

On Imgur there are options to link different sizes of the uploaded picture

In the lower right you can see "Sizes" beneath all the different link codes. So I can make the above look like this:

With Imgur you click on the type you want in sizes, and then copy the link when it updates.

Just saw the Or-ee-on episode, and TWICE they showed McCoy on the Bridge with Kirk, but Kirk calling Sickbay in the first scene, and contacting McCOy in the Second. Made me laugh (but also rewind to make sure that is what I saw)

'The Cloud Minders'

McCoy and Scotty are very late appearing in the story.

Scotty's scenes in particular are filler and could easily have been any transport officer. If time had needed to be shaved, it's here. Maybe they were added as they were running short and/or to give Doohan some screen time? I assume Doohan's contract for season three was to feature in every episode?

Also, McCoy's lines and reasoning could easily have been transferred to Spock.

It's very season one in its focus on the duo, in contrast to the majority of season three being the trio as the landing party.

Also interesting is that both conferences are not in the briefing room, but the bridge and transporter room respectively.

I feel like that would've gone over about as well as Kes' return in Voyager.

I can think of examples of series where a main cast character turned evil, left the show, and returned as a recurring villain. That seems to work sometimes, if we see them go bad before they leave. But I'm struggling to think of a time where a good character everyone liked returned as a villain and fans were okay with it.
