In seriousness, I'm surprised that one of Shatnerverse novels hasn't explained what the hell the Nexus is. Those books have been pretty good and connecting seemingly unrelated things in Trekdom and making them out to be bigger than originally thought. I would figure the Nexus would be an easy mark to work with.
