Lots of Google hits for that. I've rooted my Galaxy S4, so I can have more control over the crap it does.
I haven't seen anything in there for removing branding, but I wonder if branding is removable. I suppose there could be an addable module for this.
I would guess that the phone has to be rooted to make the change you want. Unlocked usually only means you can use any carrier.

Yeah it's got a whole bunch of vodaphone crap on it and I want that gone. I joined one forum SamMobile and that wasn't very good the downloads section doesn't even work.. Keeps timing out..
I can use Odin 3.0 to replace the stuff on the phone with a clean install but have to find a working installation.. I'll try that site again tomorrow..
I considered redoing the OS, but ultimately just stayed with whatever is on the phone. It's something that can brick your phone if not done correctly.
