Anyone remember that 'ole SkyOne programme Hex? It also aired on BBC America.. It was so good towards the end, it just took a while to get into it sadly...

It's kinda like Tru Calling in that way. It was good by the end but it took so long to get there that too many viewers had already given up and it got canceled.
It also pulled an EFC in Season 2 when they killed off Cassie and replaced her with the character who accidentally killed her.
Personally, I liked the show, almost exclusively because of Thelma. My reaction to the 1st few episodes went thusly:
1. This show sucks.
2. But the lesbian roommate is pretty cool.
3. Crap! She died!
4. Yay! She's back as a ghost!
The first episodes were dull as dirt. All Azazeal did was stand around and stare at people.
Honorable mentions to the evil priest played by Sam Troughton (grandson of Doctor Who's Patrick Troughton). This is the 2nd crappy show in which I've seen him give a great performance after Robin Hood.

I also enjoyed the show when SPACE aired it here in Canada. Wasn't easy though. I didn't last the first season when I first tried to watch it. Then some time later they aired it again and I watched it right to the end of the show. Loved Christina Cole as Cassie, but it was cool seeing Thelma continue on.
Yeah, I liked Cassie too, and Thelma made me mad with some stuff toward the end, but by the end, she was good.. The Malachi arc was very interesting, and added some depth to the show, in my opinion.. Series one was kinda meh, I agree.. Series two just got into things and was great.. I wish they had a series three, or at least some kind of novel 'relaunch'... EDIT: Hey, I forgot my most favourite character toward the end: Leon! He was great in the show!
