Why not - they all use the same designers for their starships. Even the same color consultants.
For all you wanna-be Shat fans: It is now completely official. Hollywood 411 on TV Guide Channel reported today that J.J. Abrams has made it official-- Shatner will NOT be in the new Star Trek movie.
They stated what had already been reported.. a small flashback scene was written for Shat, but being the egotist he is... Shat wanted a large role or nothing so they did not place said scene in the film.
Maybe we can finally put this rumor to rest now.
HE IS NOT IN THE NEW STAR TREK MOVIE... PERIOD... END OF STORY! Although I'm sure several will post that it is still going to happen... geesh!

The case won't be closed for some until the closing credit Paramount-Bad Robot logos flash, the lights come up and the theaters slide show begins. Even then they'll sit there a few additional seconds... just in case.
I'm now more convinced than ever that we will see Sam Cogley's Boston Legal-style Ending.
