Okay, the invisible woman was Nazneen Contractor from Star Trek Into Darkness, not Shohreh Aghdashloo. And it's neat that she's playing a Muslim on the good guys' side. That's something we need to see more of in the US media. This show is doing a pretty good job with cultural diversity.

Kravid's daughter came around a bit easily, but I guess the limited-series format requires speeding things along. Like getting rid of Molly already. She really, really didn't want Noah to remember what he's forgotten. It's probably some knowledge that Kravid could use to Destroy The World.

I love it that Ren's plan to get Miko into Renautas was to use cosplayers as cover. That's a creatively metatextual way of using superhero tropes.

So, is the one guy some kind of tech savant EVO? Because building a powersuit in an abandon sewer tunnel is some Tony Stark level stuff.

Perhaps the two worst characters on this show are the Japanese girl and her companion. It was much more interesting in the old days when it was Hiro and Ando on Hiro's journey of self-discovery. I don't really care about Video Game Girl. Maybe the writing isn't as good as it used to be, but none of the characters are worth rooting for. #Bored #NotImpressed

Did Mohinder say "Inhuman"? I wonder if Coulson and his team will show up next, before the ATCU gets to them.

Decent so far. The webisodes started out rough, but I really liked the final 2 or 3. That got me hooked on the bearded funny guy.

Life Girl from the north pole seems ridiculously overpowered. But it's probably worse that a billion different characters know the future and know the plans for her.

Luchador Iron Man is ludicrous. Hopefully they quickly move on from that suit and have him be some sort of super builder with his power.

I'm going to keep watching it. I don't adore it, but I don't hate it. At least it's not another police procedural.

I wonder if we will see a power collecting characters like Peter or Skylar in this series.

I'm all caught up, and really enjoying it so far.
I got a kick out of Mohinder narrating the last one. It was a nice call back to the old show.
I was sad to see them kill Molly, I liked her. I guess they must have felt her power would make things to easy if Noah and Quentin need to find someone.
I liked Carlos new suit, and I didn't think it was that ridiculous. He basically just added some metal to it, and a bit of stuff to enhance his strength. We saw him working on cars so he's obviously good with machines, and none of the stuff on the suit looked that high tech.
It was nice to spend more than a couple of random minutes with the blond girl and her invisible friend.
I'm liking Tommy's and Miko's storylines quite a bit. Using the cos-players as cover was fun.

I'll be sure to let the pentagon know it's that easy and they've been wasting tons of money on those darpa projects to produce powered suits.

It's been four episodes, and I still don't know most of the characters' names. I guess they're that forgettable. So if Penny Man isn't Peter Pan's dad, who is he? All we know is that he's been looking after him, kinda like "Save the Teleporter, Save the World." It appears they're all starting to come together - Noah Bennett, Video Game Girl, and next week, Power Girl. Chuck also seems to be coming to terms with his special abilities.

I was getting sick of Erica's vague platitudes and generalizations. At least we finally got some specifics about the threat to the world, but they make no scientific sense, which is par for the course for this franchise. A coronal mass ejection isn't something you could see coming weeks in advance -- and if you could, it certainly wouldn't be something that one company could discover and keep secret from all the millions of astronomers out there (unless they're using the powers of someone who can see the future). A magnetic pole reversal would take millennia to set in. And the impact of a CME on a planet without a magnetic field would not be that fiery and drastic. There would be a radiation hazard, but it wouldn't be torrents of orange flame blowing buildings apart.

At least things seem to be coming to a head now. The big crisis is a week away, although it's unclear whether that will be the next episode. I don't think this is happening in real time -- more like a day or so per episode, meaning the big disaster would come near the end of the season. It looks like we may get some real answers next week, though.

With both Tommy and Malina being told they're destined to save the world, I wonder if Hiro has seen the future and knows these people will be involved, and thus is the mastermind arranging for their protection and guidance. Still, I'm not crazy about the cliche of white chosen ones being supported by people of color -- or POC mentors sacrificing their lives so the white chosen ones can live, as with Farah here. Still, Miko and El Vengador (don't remember his name) seem to be part of the chosen coalition too, which helps.

And did Tommy's mother say his real name is Nathan? Is he the next generation of the Petrelli dynasty? I wouldn't be surprised. Although he's old enough that he would've had to be alive already during the original series.

Hmmm...whether the age works or not...given that time travel is a factor on this show, I think the potential parents most likely to have named their son Nathan would be:

Peter
Claire

(That's an either/or choice, not a suggestion that they're both his parents.)

It also strikes me that Tommy's girlfriend specifically brought up test tube babies...maybe he was genetically engineered or cloned...in which case Angela is a likely culprit.

I just watched the last episode, and yeah, I was wrong, it is pretty ridiculous. I didn't expect it to let him throw bad guys around like he was Superman.

I'd fallen behind, but over the last week or two I managed to get caught up.

This last episode was pretty good, and we got some nice movement on the story.
I'm glad we got a clear explanation for the big thread, even if it is completely implausible. I am curious how using all of these EVO's they've collected is supposed to save humanity.
The big reveal of Tommy's mother not being his birth mother was a surprise for me. I am curious to see if he's related to a familiar character somehow. It's only been 5 years, or somewhere around there, so if his birth and childhood were normal, he can't have been born between series.
I was pretty shocked that Luke was a EVO.
I am curious to see how or if they're going to bring everyone together before the end.
Anybody know when we'll start seeing more of the original series characters and actors. I was expecting them to pop up a lot more often than they have been. I know Molly was technically an old character, but she was so much older, and had changed so much that she was pretty much a new character IMO.
