As Matt continues his battle to resist Sylar's mental domination, Tracy struggles to control her ability and Samuel learns how to tap into the full power of his.

Between last week and this week Heroes has gotten a bit better. I actually have been finding that I've been interested in most of what is going on.

Lots of interesting developments that I enjoyed:
1. "Nathan" seeing his body
2. Nathan and Sylar reuniting
3. Sylar getting back into his body
4. the revelation of Suresh, the film and Samuel. I really like the idea that we most likely just learned the cause of the future disasters we saw in season one and three that Isaac painted, Angela feared, and Hiro witnessed. It didn't cross my mind at all but the clues were all there all along. The eruption of magma and the earth opening up in Isaac's paintings was caused by Samuel's terrakinesis being amplified. Kudos to the writers. And it makes so much sense that in what is likely the show's final season the threat should be the earth shattering one literally.
5. the revelation why Samuel wants those with abilities around him.
6.meaning of the compass.

I even enjoyed the girl talk sessions between Tracy and Claire. Hiro looks a little too well given how sick he is suppose to be. Peter wasn't too smart trading off the healing ability for flight.

It took too long to get here and the build-up could have been handled much better and been much tighter but maybe if nothing else the series will go out with a nice stretch of episodes.

Above average.

Sylar is in the bed because he's Matt.

Yes! That makes perfect sense!

I Heard they fired the guy who plays Nathan. Does anybody have an opinion on that?
they stupidly got rid of one of the better actors & characters on the show so they could have more Sylar fun time.
Well I agree with half of that, I think Pasdar is a good actor, but I think Nathan is one of the worst written characters on this show (and really thats saying something.

GOD DAMN IT, HIRO!!!

You had to save Mohinder, didn't you?

Typical Heroes. Mohinder's death is reversed but not before he causes yet another crisis for the rest of the world. Kneppar's work has been good this season but he was awful in those flashbacks. Nice scene between Peter and Not Nathan at the end though.

This was a cool episode...

except-

Theyre gonna have Peter accept the Sylar body as Nathan. He's gonna be totally ok with that. Lovely. Hey if he wants to help the Sy/Nate hybrid out, ok...but he shouldnt be accepting him as the same guy. Even Sythan understands he's not the same guy.

Angela really is messed up. Not only did she turn Sylar into Nathan but she couldn't bring herself to even bury Nathan choosing instead to keep him on ice.

I wonder even if embalmed and frozen how long he'd stay looking that well preserved. It's been a few months since his death.

Matt also is now a fugitive on the run.

I liked that we finally found out why Samuel is the big villain this season.

The only thing I didn't like was Peter's lack of reaction to finding out Nathan is Sylar. Strange.

To me that just shows how poorly handled the whole Sylar as Nathan storyline was. Peter seemed perfectly fine with the revelation that Nathan is dead-no shock, no anger, no emotional outburst. Granted that is the same flat reaction I had as well. Also Peter has barely had any time interacting with "Nathan" this season so how does he know if this "Nathan" is anything like his older brother. They've avoided each other pretty much all season.

Hiro was sure lucky that Samuel just happened to strike Suresh in the chest otherwise that vest would have done no good if Samuel had launched a piece of rock into the back of his head.

This was a pretty good episode! Lots of stuff happened. We find out why Samuel is important, what happened to Mohinder, we get a resolution (kinda) on the Sylar/Nathan thing... so I'm assuming that Sylar's mind is in Peter's body now? No spoilers! :p Unfortunately I got spoiled on Parkman surviving on last week's thread. That was a total cop-out btw. He gets shot in the chest eight times but manages to stick around in the hospital long enough for Nathan and Peter to show up? Of course the same thing happened to him in the S1 Finale as well! He apparently dies of a gunshot wound only to miraculous survive the next episode.

well keep in mind that Peter doesnt yet beleive in the Sythan stuff. Im hoping we'll get a bigger reaction from him next ep when Angela finally spills. But yeah, his reaction was almost the same as Nathan's reaction when he found out future Peter shot him. I think Kring never really dug the Petrelli bros relationship much & maybe even was perturbed by how popular it became. So now he's getting rid of it for good.

Hiro mentioned that his first attempt to return back in time resulted in him arriving ten minutes after D'ohinder was killed. So he knew exactly where Samuel would strike him.

Did Peter only get the flight power or did he get all of Sylars powers when he touched him? He should have gotten all of them or at the very least been unable to pick which power he got. Oops sorry Pete you got the slice the brain open power have fun getting down from the cliff.

:wtf: Tell me you're kidding. I knew there was a reason I quit watching. He's going to accept the new guy as Nathan.....when the majority of him is composed of the guy that murdered Nathan? :alienblush: :wtf:

That is FUBAR. I'm sorry, but give me Sam and Dean with Sam trying to strangle his brother over Nathan and Peter and their nonexistent relationship any day. At least they give a crap enough to be angry enough to strangle each other and throw knives. :guffaw:
