I thought it was a pretty good episode. This season is really ramping up, I can't wait to see where they take it.

Well managed if busy. On the brink of overload though. However, if the payoff is worth it, then the buildup will have been brilliant.

I forgot but who was Eric Roberts?

Thompson

Above Average. I'm yet to look what happens next week. Hopefully the next episode shall be better.

And Thompson was Noah Bennett/HRG's boss in the Company (Primatech). The boss he killed in the second to last episode of the first season. Just before they all went downstairs for the Peter/Sylar fight.

Also, as I had not ever seen this mentioned, the actress who played Maya also played Callisto in X-Men 3. She was the mutant tracker Magneto used to track down Mystique. It seems no one likes any of her performances.

I hope that flashback ep in 2 weeks straightens out all this stuff about the company & Angela/Arthur's history, Im really comfused about how all that fits right now.

But I guess... Angela & Arthur are both evil, but wanted to do different things with the company?

Think of it this way...

Angela is evil.

Arthur is eeeevvvvilllll.

For as many things that happened in this episode, I still feel like it was a wasted hour.

Matt and Daphne are dead! No wait, it's a mindfuck.

Peter is dead! No wait, his sappy "brother" let him live.

Mohinder is a prick. He needs to fucking die. I have never been more annoyed by a single character ever.

I liked the idea of Claire teaming up with Elle, but they ruined that by having Elle run off.

I also really hate Nathan. How hard is it to listen to your brother, especially when something so big is happening? Nathan is such a fucking hothead, and it's stupid.

I voted Poor.

In the space of two episodes I've gone from die hard fan to nearly dropping this show. It's turning in to f***ing Smallville. Smallville has the excuse that it's a cheap Canadian show, this show does not.

I said this enough last week, but you do not prove that someone is more or less of a "hero" by taking his or her powers away. I had enough of this crap with Rogue and guess what ? I don't read X-Men comics anymore and she's the number one reason.

Another below average for me. Heroes can do better.

I feel bad for Adrian Pastar...basically he stands around and does nothing...well, I guess, collect a pay check, but, really, what has his character done all season but explain to people who Tracy/Nikki is, over and over?

And if Claire wants Elle to calm down why is she picking and needling her on the plane? "Oh, I see you're having trouble controlling your powers, it's because you're stupid, now calm down."

And how stupid is Mohinder...It's like he didn't understand that maybe sticking someone to a wall is a wee bit of a deal breaker in a relationship. "But, I did it all for you!!!"

Ando and Hiro were interesting again...

But over all, this episode was a place holder, AGAIN, not much REALLY happened that couldn't have happened in like 15 minutes.

The show is turning into the next Alias...

Well to be honest Maya didn't give him much choice. It was either incapacitate her in such a way that she couldn't use her powers or let her kill him. Webbing her to the wall kept her out without having to pump her full of drugs. Sure to US it seemed bad but from Mohinder's POV it wasn't so bad.

i enjoyed this episode....a couple fake outs and 1 actual death, 1 departure back to South America, and 1 japanese time traveler going back in time again (on a spiritual level), so it seems. Maybe next episode's flashback will be seen thru Hiro's eyes.

Now that Arthur has Maya's powers. It's scary to think that he is that much more powerful because her powers were extremely deadly, like on a massive scale.

Also couldn't Claire just give Peter some blood for him to heal, quicker. Or is he essentually human now and wouldnt be able to handle it.

Haha, did you see the stupid look on Peter's face when he tried to attack Arthur and the guards with the stool. And I also liked the line Peter says to Sylar: "Why don't you hurry up and kick his ass, so we can get out of here!"

Also couldn't Claire just give Peter some blood for him to heal, quicker. Or is he essentually human now and wouldnt be able to handle it.

Wasn't Claire's blood used to heal Noah after he was shot in the face by Mohinder? It worked fine on him, and as far as we know he doesn't have any abilities. So they should have been able to use Claire's blood, provided they had the necessary medical equipment on hand.

Okay, even Claire can't be stupid enough to think it was a good idea to take a girl with out-of-control electrical zapping powers on a freaking airplane ride!!!! :cardie:

As someone on another board said, how the hell did she get thru security?

oh ya, and you think that people on the plane would notice the electricity emitting off of them during that whole turbulent scene. but we're supposed to think outside of the box and suspend beilef

They were unlikely to have had the proper medical equipment just lieing around so they could take the blood out of Claire and put it in Peter though, besides, beyond a few scratches he wasnt that hurt anyway, it's not like he was at deaths door.

Above average. Poised nicely for the flashback episode and its many revelations.

Plus:
Elle
Elle/Claire
Sylar
Arthur
Maya

Minus:
Moronder
Hiro
Hiro
Hiro

I'm getting really sick of Hiro this season. First it was his stupidity, then it was his pathetic whining about Ando's future treachery, and now it's whining about not going back in time. Honestly, the ending was terrible this week. We KNOW he's on a spirit walk so why make a fuss over it? At least this way though he can't go interfering in events and thus we can have a cracking flashback episode.

Why is everyone so convinced Maury Parkman is dead? Even Matt made a comment about how Maury could've faked it with his ability. We know Arthur didn't take his ability 'cause they never used the "pull a ghost out of your body" bit on him that got used on Adam, Peter, and Maya. He (theoretically) just broke the guy's neck and nothing more.

And if Matt can make Knox think he put his FIST through him, I'm willing to bet a seasoned telepath like Maury was ready for A.P.'s betrayal...AND willing to theorize he'll turn to help Matt and the "good guys" (whoever they ultimately work out to be).

And no, this isn't spoilerized because it's entirely speculation on my part. :)

^ Exactly what I (and doubtless, many others!) concluded. Maury will be back, I'm sure.

Average. Leaning towards below average. This season has been a series of placeholders placeholding other placeholders. And I'm sick of the flashback episodes every season. Not because they're bad, but because they are so well written, I wish the writers could be that dynamic with the rest of the show. And Robert Forester sounds like a Chicago city alderman. I'm waiting for him to order an italian beef saingwich and praise Mike Di'ka. I'll stick with the show, but if this is its last season, I won't lose any sleep.

Cosign.

HIRO - I'm still liking his story line. I like the internal conflict he has with what he believes is right, the reprocussions of what his actions may be... He's like a superhero that was an engineer - over analytical about the causality of things, and wallowing in potential mishaps. If I were a superhero with time-line-fucking abilities, I'd probably be as anal as he is.

Daphne/Parkman - I LOVE their chemistry! Yea, Daphne is sorta good/bad, and nobody can really tell, but I like that. You see she has self doubt in her actions, and to see Parkman's conviction of what happens in the future, and to see her (positive/accepting?) reaction to it is so enticing (imo). Also, what if in the future, Daphne was still working behind parkman's back??? Who knows?! Their storyline by far has my attention

Nathan/Tracy - I could care less right now. They're a means to an end for now...

Peter/Sylar - I enjoy the bantering about of whether one is good, both are good, both are bad, etc. I feel like it's a pendulum that's STARTING to slow down to center to it's point, but as it reaches it's conclusion it's making last minute adjustments... like a coin spinning before it falls flat.

Claire/Elle - They were so close to a lesbian moment... oh well. Next time...

Mohinder/Mya - they suck.
