Heres a Wacky Rush idea (Spoilers)

biotech

Vice Admiral
Admiral
Ok, so Rush gets that ship working, thats pretty much a given, but the destiny travels at random, so knowing where its going to be is impossible, knowing where it used to be is not.

What if Rush takes the ship back in time somehow, and that bit at the end of the show in an early episode of the pod leaving destiny was Rush's ship leaving after having dropped him back off on destiny?

Rush knows which parts of the ship are empty, and he knows where everyone is going to be for the next few weeks.

With a brain like his it wouldnt be too hard to keep out of everyones way until the time was right to re-make his appearence.

Has anyone captured the image of the ship that broke off and compared it with the ship on the planet?

Not keen on the time travel aspect but I guess he's more likely to know where Destiny has been than where it's going.

By the way, have they ejected the pod containg dead dad yet?

Interesting idea, although more time travel would be a bit lame at this point, I personally feel.

More likely, IMHO, is that whoever owns the pod was taking a look around Destiny before the expedition showed up - whoever it was were then scared off by the idea these chaps might've been Ancients.

If you are right, however, perhaps pastfuture Rush has full access to the ship's systems and has been an unseen hand in one or two events over the last few episodes...

No time travel please.

Also, the thing that detached looked like a spherical pod, not what was seen on the desert planet.

I think Rush will get the ship fixed, and be able to detect Destiny's "warp trail" or "ftl trail" or something, and go after it. Perhaps he ends up following it until its next stop and then he is able to catch up that way.

Well the time travel elements of that wouldn't bother me, because Rush wouldn't have interfered in what's happened, but why lose the ship if its that advanced? surely if nothing else Destiny could use another shuttle?

For some reason I don't recall that at all. Does anyone know which episode that was exactly?

So I take it the pod in Air and the alien ship in Justice are from the alien race we'll be meeting in S1.5?

Ascension is actually an aspect about Rush I think he is after. I think Rush might be after Ascension, so he can Ascend and somehow have the power to bring his wife back or be with her or something. I think Rush has a dark interest in Ascension. I also think Rush thought the 9th Chevron was going to be related to Ascension somehow.

I wonder when Ascension is going to play a part in the show. After all, they've mentioned it twice even though there was no need to either time. There's definately plans here.
