Here they are,Hot Wheels Star Trek

Blegh, someone has to explain to me, why would you want battle damaged models? I'd rather have new models than battered-up old ones. Meh...

A-freaking-men! If I want battle-damage I can simulate a battle between the Enterprise and the giant spaceship-devouring beast Canis familiaris from Sol III.

These look about as good as the versions from "Johnny Lightning" a few years back.

Does anyone know if TOS Enterprise will be a part of this collection?

As already replied (indirectly), not in the first wave or second wave...

They look better to me then the ''Johnny Lightning'' ships, I just hope mattel adds the ''AZTEC'' patterns like ''JL'' did! And if you read my earleyer post, TOS Ent wont be in the first three waves!:( Which is dissapointing to say the least!

I wonder when the release date is? I've read everything from april, to may, to "any time now".

But...where are the wheels? I wanted to race them on my old Hot Wheels track.

Yes, an epic Criss Cross Crash, like the ending of Nemesis.

On a side note, the Galaxy class saucer section looks a little too flattened out (should be thicker with less diameter, imo)

I think it's because were viewing it almost from the ''top'' of it.:vulcan: Very odd angle to take a picture of the D!

At this miniscule scale, Aztek patterns make starships look like speckled eggs.

i'd say it's a bit of an intimidating angle, assuming the proportions are correct. i wish we'd seen more angles like this in the series, and the Big D may have even had a longer movie life as well

I didn't even know these were coming out but I found them at a Target in Manassas VA 2 days ago. I bought the Reliant, Enterprise A, and Enterprise D (w/ detachable saucer section by the way). They are pretty nicely detailed, have nice stands, and are a great size. More plastic than diecast though (probably 70/30) and my Enterprise A is a little bent out of shape unfortunately. Just thought you guys would like to know these are hitting and get a little bit of a hands on fan review.

Happy Hunting.
