Here it is - no bloody "A", "B" "C" or "D"

Looks good:) Its a nice mixture of something old (TOS and TMP) and something new. It has sence of power in it, but not without some grace and elegance added to the mix:techman:

Well, the stardrive section will take some getting used to. The nacelles look cool. The neck I'm fairly neutral on, though I wish they hadn't put the torpedo tubes there. The saucer looks cool, though I would've preferred retractable phaser banks. All-in-all - not bad! Different, and as I said it'll take some getting used to, but not bad at all.

Judging by the windows, they don't seem to have messed with the proportions as much as some here had feared.

Well, it's less faithful than I thought it was going to be, but that doesn't really bother me. Looks a little cumbersome at first glance but I'll get used to it. I'm sure it'll all look right once we see it in motion doing Enterprise stuff.

Oh, I hated Picard's Enterprise the first time I saw it. Top heavy.

What's odd to me a bout this new ship is the way the saucer and the deflector look very TMPish, and the rest of it looks new and sleek. Weird combo and contrast. But I'm sure I'll think it's the coolest thing ever come next May.

I like the individual parts, but the engineering section is waaay too far forward. It just looks awkward jutting ahead of the neck like that. If it was pushed back so the deflector was right under the neck it would look fine.

Holy ****, that looks good. I don't like the way it curves back toward the shuttle bay doors, but that is a HOT looking ship. ****ing HOT.

Holy cats! Very radical design (I assume you'd have the sheit Starship P., and thanx!). Has a futuristic retro style with it's sleek form but offset with technical detail. Notice the photon-torpedo tube mount as from the TMP design.

Something in me wonders if Scotty didn't ask someone to 'pimp my starship'! :bolian:

The nacelles are the most daring part here, if the lower 'engineering section' getting flattened and smoothed isn't. The nacelles give a huge new feel to the ship, rather like most other new designs for starships always seemed to not want to mess with the saucer.

Do I like it? It's great and seems to fit the design styles the film seems to be going for... futuristic and retro but not a campy retro. It follows some of the most modern designs we see in vehicle design, architecture (especially the silver, shiny, skin), and so on. It might not appeal to the fanboy set but personally I find this design to be wonderfully contemporary, sophisticated and appealing to todays eyes. Well done I say! :)

This'll spark a whole new round of "reboot" panic.

Not the first time the Enterprise has been through a drastic change though.

Ok so why isn't there a 3D render of this ship yet? I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED PEOPLE! :scream:

That said, I like the design. I can get behind this. Now, I want to see it in action.

"I didn't mean to say the Enterprise should be hauling garbage. I meant to say that it should hauled away as garbage!!!"

I agree. Though I never had a problem with the new bridge in the first place, it does make a lot more sense now that we know what the ship looks like.

AWESOME!

At first I was a little thrown off because I didn't realize that was a shuttle covering the front the forward drive section until I took a closer look.

Now I want MORE!

Between this and his obvious displeasure at the outcome of the recent election, I think Captain Robert April's head is likely to explode when he sees this. ;)

I kid the Captain, but I don't think he'll like this one bit.

It has been said, but I am saying it again. I don't like the nacelles.

Other than that it is tolerable.

It'd be nice if we could eventually get 4-view shots of it. At that angle, it's hard to gauge the total length and positioning of the nacelles, for example.
