Help me please to identify an episode

I saw this many years ago, and I think it was an early Voyager episode...

All I know is that at the end of the episode some alien/monster (female I think) disappeared in front of the crew, it's body got twisted and kind of vanished (in space or where ever).

I have a vivid memory of this, but cannot find this episode.

Do you think maybe it was the one with the female Caretaker - Suspiria? 'Cold Fire'.

Or it could be "PERSISTENCE OF VISION", if it was indeed a male instead. The Bothan that disappeared at the end.

My first, accidental, contact with Voyager. I thought it was a masterpiece
