I have witched all the series and episodes AND movies of Star Trek with my dad... and I was wondering if any of you know if there is gonna be another series soon... I know there is gonna be a new movie but I am wondering about a new series...!

Welcome aboard, both of you new-comers. Star Trek, as you will find out soon on this board, attacts a large diverse following. I don't think there is another Franchise, not even Star Wars, that can compete with Trek in this regard. Because there have been many versions of Trek we all seldom agree on most aspects of them. But that is a GOOD thing. Star Trek fan boards, like this one, are truly a melting pot of different likes and dislikes.

There are other boards out there. I have been to many of them, but I think this board has the most diverse range of topics. In one thread we are trying to figure out if 3 billion people could be saved from earth, Star Treks time, if there was some kind of disaster.

Another thread is talking about Shatner being on Howard Stern, and yet another thread is debating who is better; DC or Marvel (DC of course)

So..welcome aboard.

If you have the patience to read(sadly, a fast-dying art in this day and age) the fan fiction forum features some pretty good authors and stories as well. And if you want to learn more about a specific series the series forums feature lots of die-hard fans splitting hairs.

I don't believe there is a new series in the works, but there are of fan made episodes on the internet that are pretty good and free!
