Yeah if you watch the extended preview it features Alyson Michalka(Blonde) more than Tisdale(Brunette)...not sure why...but the CW promos seem to favor Tisdale.

Until they get into the season more of course Alyson Michalka is going to be favored...but that doesn't mean Ashley Tisdale will be hanging high & dry.

[edit] Also when this show was being promoted Tisdale is usually mentioned and not Alyson Michalka...as AY has pointed out...Tisdale is the bigger star. Aly's face may appear more...but Tisdale's name gets dropped more.

Probably not. I used to really enjoy teen/young adult dramas like 90210 back in the '90s but most of them these days are just too shallow and silly for my tastes now. They need a little bit less Paris Hilton sensibilities if they ever hope to pull me in.

2.99 million for premiere night.

That's decent enough but new shows generally lose viewers after the first week so it's probably not good enough to last that long. I wonder what the CW has in the way of replacement shows.

He's not throwing his "moderator dick" around, just trying to keep things nice and friendly in here. Nothing wrong with that. Same to you, too, Admiral_Young. Now, if we all can't get along in a thread for a show about cheerleaders, what hope is there for the world?

Back on topic... I actually meant to check this one out, and might look for it on the CW's website. I missed Nikita, too.

Finally got around to seeing it today. I was pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed it. It wasn't great. It was pretty cliched in every aspect. The cheerleaders are certainly nice to look at too. Anyone catch the Heroes reference "Save the Cheerleaders. Save the something __ (I forget the finale word there)? The Hellcats pilot was directed by frequent Heroes director Allan Arkush.

I just got done watching it...it was ok. I don't know if I would watch this week to week...if anything it does have less serious One Tree Hill vibe. Aly Michalka kind of annoyed me and Ashley Tisdale I am still not sold on...Robbie Jones as Lewis Flynn was a fun character...Matt Barr is pretty useless in this...that bitchy cheerleader played by Heather Hemmens was typical...meh. The girls are easy on the eyes. It is a shame Ben Browder wasn't part of this...the guy they got to play the coach was forgettable.

About the Aly Michalka/Ashley Tisdale lead thing...though Aly is featured heavily in the pilot...I can see where Tisdale shares the lead...she is the captain of the squad.

On a scale of 1-10...I give it an 8...not awful...but nothing spectacular.
