Helena Chronicles "The Minstrel Boy" Available

Hey, thanks for letting us know :)

Managed to see it last night. Thoroughly enjoyed it - fantastic stuff :techman:

So was season one a trend? There were only three episodes where as some of the other titles have had as many as seven per season.

Not that I'm complaining or anything, I was just surprised that we were on season two already.

Well, they're doing a lot more concurrently now than they have in the past. It's actually surprising to me that Odyssey got as many episodes as it did last year.

Poor Federation One had a *two* episode season. What's even the point of using the word "finale" at that point?

Yeah, and while that's an interesting decision, I can't really be happy about it. I found that show more compelling than O&HC, honestly.

^ I didn't know that! I haven't really got into audio stuff so much, but I may try and get on board with this one.

I just have to say I really enjoyed the introduction of Ben Maxwell into this series.

I enjoyed this episode but the introduction of Ben Maxwell bothered me. The complicated, anguished man who did the right thing, the wrong way in "The Wounded" isn't in this episode. Instead, this Ben Maxwell came across as a one-dimensional jingoistic jarhead. Although, I do appreciate the character reversal -- the once hunted now being the hunter.

Asshole-Maxwell didn't bother me. After all, he ended up being right at the end of the day about the Cardassians, and given the backstory he was given in Helena, that's bound to make anyone a smug son-of-a-bitch.

Just watched this. Bravo. Very well done episode. It was intense. I like Maxwell and the twist at the end.
