I really enjoyed the demo, to me the game feels like a modern day version of your point and click adventure game, i loved the whole CSI bit searching about the body and yeah the fight bit was really well done, i got right into that.

...it's an example of the potential of video games to create an entirely new aesthetic medium every bit as important as cinema or the other established visual or performing arts.
http://www.smh.com.au/digital-life/...nre-of-creative-expression-20100401-rh8z.htmlThe new aesthetic form is not simply a matter of audiovisual virtuosity or game-play mechanics; it's an entirely new space for what Edge magazine's Randy Smith calls 'interactive art'.
http://www.mercurynews.com/business-headlines/ci_14726197It's a truly unique game that provides an emotional, movie-like experience
i really like the fixed-camera positions actually. I'd love to see some Trek game with fixed-camera positions.
Heavy Rain has a more satisfying narrative and follows in the vein of movies like Seven, Zodiac and Silence of the Lambs (which to me is AWESOME).

I'm told a deal is near with Unique Features, the film shingle started by Bob Shaye and Michael Lynne after they exited New Line.
Using their own money, Shaye and Lynne posted top bid in an auction
http://www.videogamesblogger.com/20...hts-optioned-by-new-line-cinema-years-ago.htmThis is one case where a studios foresight into seeing the future potential of a videogame based movie was dead -on, as a game like Heavy Rain could make a pretty perfect transition to film.
The rights for the game were filed in 2006 and then re-filed in 2007. And although this doesn’t mean that Heavy Rain WILL be turned into a movie, it certainly is very likely.
Comment by The.Watcher May 20, 2010Heavy Rain is as close to a movie as you can get without, you know, actually being a movie.
Why do we need a movie-movie version of this??
Is A Heavy Rain Movie In The Works?A movie can’t be interactive. A singular movie version would seem to disregard nearly everything special about the concept and execution of Heavy Rain. Unless New Line plans to create a Clue-like film involving multiple, interchangeable plot developments,
