There's one line spoken by the the Vulcan Elder that sounded like "It's your hooping cough, Spock." to me.

Blame it on those redundant Klingon organs.

That episode, in a bad way, really stuck on me. I call it "static kling"...

Maybe it's simply the name of an important Klingon House with good relations to the Federation.

Perhaps it's Gorkon's House or K'mpec's.

In fact, Humans are apparently the only race in Star Trek that have a name for their species that is entirely unrelated to the name of their home world. I never actually understood why humans aren't referred to by others as Earthlings. It's not a terrible term, & seems appropriate, more so than Terran anyhow, since nobody else refers to Earth as anything but Earth, least of all Terra

But Klingons are from Qo'nos so humans aren't the only ones.
