Health and Mana potions

They look like regular plastic screw tops, are they? So I'm guessing it's just like a regular carbonated drink, but that the bottle is an unusual shape?

If these were toughened glass bottles with ornate gothic stoppers, containing arcane glow in the dark liquids, then those would make some fun ornaments. But these look a bit cheap and nasty. :)

How many Alchemy skill points would you require to craft those? ;)
I'm Mutenroshi (duh!) on the Krasus server, btw.

Who wants free flasks?

<- on Runetotem
You guys and your PvE servers. RP is where the fun is. :p

Hell yeah! RP servers FTW! I've got tons of characters on Moon Guard!

Though, my main's on Uther.

They USED to be sold in glass bottles, but those would break during transport so they switched to plastic. And it's not carbonated either.

I'm Echesii on MG. :techman:

I've got a full roster of characters on that server, so I have options depending on what I feel like roleplaying. All are Alliance at least.

The shit people get conned with. Wow.

Lots of people, 30 years from now; "Whaddya' mean I need a new liver?"

Quite.

Looks like a complete gimmick, this.

Ah well, at least we know the placebo effect isn't dead. :p

I wouldn't call something with 400mcg of vitamin B12 a placebo. :p (And please don't make me list the entire label.)

I tried the Mana one today. It was an interesting flavor, and I definitely stayed awake during class.

I'm not really seeing the con here. Isn't it just an energy drink in special packaging? How is anyone being conned?

Emerald Dream RPPVP represent!

Okay, it's just a PVP server with marginally higher standards of literacy. :(

LOL I wondered how RPPVP worked out... I figured it'd be insanely hardcore but I guess not. I hate PVP servers (yet my dad and brother insist on playing on Frostmane). And alot of my RL friends who play RP servers only do so for the higher literacy standard (which is awesome, though I've gotten good at netspeak). I, on the other hand, actually enjoy getting "in character" sometimes. ;)

I always wondered how that worked. How can you RP when everyone's killing everyone all the time?

I don't have any experience with vanilla RP servers to draw a comparison, but most people don't, at least not openly, most RP takes place within guilds. I've noticed that the pools in Thunder Bluff are a common venue for RP events, Horde-side obviously. There aren't many guilds mixing RP with PVP, the two are usually kept separate.

I like the PVP ruleset, it lends an edge even to travelling, but I don't like the mentalities of most who play on PVP servers, hence RPPVP. It's not perfect, douchebaggery still abounds, but it's certainly an improvement. I don't actively RP myself, but I enjoy observing it and have backstories and personalities for my characters that affect how I relate to them internally, it just doesn't translate to my interactions with other players.

These are for sale at a store downtown, I was going to pick some up as a gift for a friend of mine. I'll get an extra and let you know how it tastes....

Just drank the Health one. It tastes pretty much the same as the Mana except there's a hint of cinnamon to it.

Most roleplayers call that old server syndrome. One of the seemingly universal truths is that a roleplayer server decays as it ages for various reasons. Some get into raiding and either go fully in that direction or later try to get back into roleplaying only discover that either their friends are gone or they simply have moved on with things without them. Some stop worrying about events or random roleplay and settle into a guild of like-minded folks and some end up taking the drama into the game and causing splits and friction.

Right now, Moon Guard and the new RP server, Wyrmrest Accord, are the places to be, though I'd argue they both have some pretty serious problems in regards to roleplay health.
