Heads Up: Tennant & Co ....

The funny part is after that, where the schoolgirl Annabelle, aware of LG rumours about gender, goes, "Um...", which is funny on two levels, a) Miss Fritton not being aware of those rumours, and b) Fritton being played by Rupert Everett.

For a trailer with the relevant lines and some DT goodness:

ETA: found a further Who connection, much older. Roger Delgado had a small uncredited part in the first (1954) film, Belles of St Trinians

I also thought that line was funny too, on an ironic level, you know, for those of us who do not consider LG to actually have achieved greatness!

I wonder, a year from now do you suppose Matt Smith will be as ubiquitous on UK TV?

Hell, I'll buy the Hamlet on its own (and I hear I will be able to).

Any word an a Region 1 release? Between him & Stewart & just being a Hamlet fan in general, I'd love to see this here in the States.

he's in CT's Xmas spesh

By "CT" do you mean Catherine Tate? However is her comedy surviving since she killed off Lauren Cooper?;)

I wish there was more Catherine Tate available on DVD in R1. All we've got so far is the 1st 2 seasons & her 1st Christmas special.

And there is that too.

It's a good question. Tennant has a reasonable range as an actor, therefore turns up in more roles. We'll have to wait and see what range Matt Smiff can offer, then we'll see what other roles he gets.

Tennant & Catherine have been a good pairing for the BBC, even as far as giving them there own radio show, despite neither of them being anywhere close to good.

Catherine Tate is a bit of a mentalist isn't she?

Having seen and read interviews with her before it'd be more accurate to say that she puts on a good act.

(It's like when she claimed that she thought the Sontarans were completely animatronic until a week into shooting; when obviously she'd have been with Christopher Ryan and Dan Starkey at the read throughs.)

Buzzcocks and DW would seem like an odd combination, but then that show's been in a puzzling disarray since Mark Lamarr left. Anyway, it was alright. Catherine Tate's not getting any funnier, and seeing my favourite person ever (Kate Bush) insulted by my least favourite person ever (Jamie Cullum) isn't fun. Still, entertaining all the same. Worth a watch every week just to see what comedy names are given to the line-up.

Just seen an advert for Hamlet on BBC 2 on Boxing Day over here in the UK. It looks awesome, I have to say!
