Heads Up: Tennant & Co ....

David Tennant is hosting Never Mind the Buzzcocks, BBC 2 16/12/09. Pannelists included the lovely Catherine Tate and the excellent Bernard Cribbins. And a Dalek.

Just seen a clip. Looks very amusing!

I think the only show not featuring Tennant this Christmas is the Queens Speech, what were Radio 2 thinking giving him & Catherine Tate another shot at being DJs, they were awful last year..

Not forgetting the second St Trinian's film is released, too.
I was going to ask about that. It's supposed to be coming out in the UK on the 18th or thereabouts, but I haven't herarrd a word Down Here about it. Still on track? Any advertising over there?

I saw an advertisment for it on tv yesterday a couple of times. Tennant looks different - blond, I think.

Are you guys sure the Trinians film is coming out that soon? Last I heard Tennant was only just filming it, and that was about a month ago. I guess it could be a fast turnaround - has happened before - but I was under the impression the Trinian's sequel was going to be out in the spring or summer of 2010.

Went to YT last night, found an official trailer, it says Dec 18 as well. It looks a bit better than the first one.

Funny bit with DT init;
[skylight crashes in. Men in balaclavas]
[Miss Fritton streps forward]
Fritton: Whio are you people?
Pomfroy: We're your worst nightmare.
Fritton: You're not the Bee Gees, Take That.

:guffaw:

[Later, Fritton and Annabelle talking]
Fritton: Some people are born great, like the Queen. Some people become great, like Lady Gaga.
Annabelle: Umm...

I loved the original films when I was a kid, and I think I'll like this. :)

ETA: from a YT clip:
Mark was put in a dress for his trip home from his stag-do in London. He ended up being in the St Trinian's 2 movie!! And he met Sarah Harding, lucky bugger - shame it was in that dress hahaha!
You can see him dancing with everyone else (sort of a powder-blue number), and his mates killing themselves in the BG.

Just checked out a clip: Rupert Everett, Colin Firth, David Tennant, and some pretty young things running round in stockings and miniskirts. There's something for everyone here!
