News He-Man anime series from Kevin Smith coming to Netflix

It just occurred to me that publishing concept art of Orko's bare face is, by Trollan standards, the equivalent of publishing a nude selfie. Holy invasion of privacy, He-Man!

Marvel Movies do not have recurring Supervillains.

Everyone dies or gets amnesia, or runs the fuck away to the other side of the world, or gets put in a super prison that no one gets out of.

Batman and Spider-Man in the comics, have 80 villains at any one time out of prison and thinking about killing them, so its a massive miracle that they attack one at a time.

Yeah; I don't get how I'm supposed to believe that Ma and Pa and Lois and Lucy and Ron and Jimmy and Perry and Lana and Pete haven't all been thrice murdered by Lex Luthor or Parasite or Metallo or Ultra Humanite or Intergang or Thaddeus Kilgrave or Toyman or Prankster or Bloodsport or Silver Banshee or Livewire or Terra Man or Kryptonite Man or Manchester Black or Neutron or Zod or whoever this long after Superman stupidly went public.

Because, if you kill any if those people, except Steve Lombard, Kal snaps, and then kills everyone.

Is Terra-Man from the future?

Nope.

An alien abductee from the past.

They could have killed them even earlier, considering that almost all of these people were also known as friends of Superman.
It's just one of those things you have to accept in comics. When villains decide to kill all hero's friends is usually a What If or an Elseworld. (see What happened to the man of tomorrow)

Nah.

What happened to the man of tomorrow happened.

It's just that it happened moments before the first Crisis.

In the last Wonder Woman Steve Trevor and Wonder Woman got married FFS.

There are still haters commenting on Kev's YouTube channel, but luckily, the good-hearted fanbase of Kev is back in the majority. I do love this exchange from the most recent of Kev's video:

- Enter generic you lied about he man quote here
- God I know. These mouth breathers are more predictable than a ... well an old He-Man ep... go figure.

I never found her particularly sexy in the original cartoon, partly because the shoddy animation always made her look like she was doped out of her mind.

I suspect the "isn't sexy enough" brigade can only get dates that way.

I've been enjoying the 'Teela' isn't sexy enough' threads.

Caricature is an integral element of cartooning. It's not like He-Man's overinflated musculature is any more realistic.
He-Man's muscles are magical. It's middle aged Man at Arms whose muscles are ludicrous. He spends most of his time working on inventions not working out.
