It's funny I should find this thread today. I was in my wheelchair, heading for the the corner store, and a small rabbit DID in fact cut out of the bushes in front of me and tear off across the street. I can't remember the last time I saw THAT. Dogs, yes, cats, sure, rabbits? Never.

Fortunately there was no collison with either me or traffic, so he, she, or it, didn't end up like that sad picture.

There are so many rabbits in my neighbourhood. A lot of my neighbours hate them, but they don't bother me. Some mornings in the summer, right as the sun is rising, they are all over the street. One morning I counted 11.

I saw several brown bunnies over Easter. In fact every morning on the riverside cycle trail. But no eggs...
