That's Pocket's excuse every time, but they don't market the Trek line, they seem to rely on the fan base they have and the books' authors to notify others. If they had print ads in science fiction magazines, youtube videos and such (like mainstream books), the books might sell more.
Those magazines have less than a quarter of the readership they used to have. But Youtube videos work well for mainstream novels like James Patterson, so someone could easily make something up for Pocket at a minimal cost and it might be worth the money. That's Pocket's excuse every time, but they don't market the Trek line, they seem to rely on the fan base they have and the books' authors to notify others. They do have print ads in SF magazines. Analog routinely has ads for Trek novels inside the back cover; for instance, the March 2010 issue had an ad for The Sorrows of Empire and the December '10 issue has an ad for the reprint of Nightshade. (And yes, those are the two issues I've had stories published in recently. Gee, what a coincidence...)

Not yet. No current plans to, but I learned a long time ago to never say never.Sadly there are no Star Trek Gorkon comics and as far as I know, there never will be. So what about the next best thing? Have any of the main characters from the Star Trek Gorkon novels ever appeared in comics?
What's to stop us having a competition? To have the BBS regulars here create book trailers?I don't know how successful it'd be. But if they revived that, I'd certainly watch
