hmm not sure I understood the pun
hospital(byouin) with "boing"
Seems like you got it. It's just not funny.
I'm pretty sure the hospital set was used for some Kamen Rider Ex-Aid scenes. Interestingly Yuya Takahashi was the head writer on that show and now Zero-One
Maybe it's a location? Or maybe it's a standing set that Toei uses for multiple productions, since if it were exclusive to
Ex-Aid it would probably have been struck by now. And lots of shows need hospital sets.
Things really ramped up in this episode
We got more hints about Zaia, a preview of the giant mecha that will eventually become Mammoth armor, and the debut of the Attache Arrow, Amazing Hercules and Horobi's first major on screen presence.
It's impressive how quickly the story is developing. I sometimes think that American serialized shows could stand to learn a thing or two from Japanese serials. (Like how to resolve a season arc. I like the way tokusatsu shows stagger the conclusions of the various season-long arcs, resolving them one by one until there's just the main conflict left in the finale, as opposed to the US practice of keeping all the balls in the air and wrapping them up at once in the finale, which is more cluttered.)
When the giant mecha went on a rampage, I thought "Gee, they'd better call the Ryusoulgers." Although it looks like it's been more than two years since the last Sentai/KR crossover.
I'm suspicious of that Zaia corporation. Big corporations in KR are often sinister, and they certainly tended to be in
Ex-Aid. If they built those Gigars to take mass control of HumaGears, I doubt their only intent was to neutralize rogue ones.
By all accounts Fuwa should be dead but he'll probably just be bandaged.
Yeah, tokusatsu heroes just need an episode's worth of rest and a few bandages to bounce back from what would be lethal injuries for most people.
Although I did think it was cool that Yua didn't let her injured arm stop her from joining the fight as Valkyrie. I was afraid they were going to use that as an excuse to sideline her and leave the action to the menfolk, but she toughed it out, even though she was impaired in the fight.
