Has anyone noticed

Actually, on a serious note, the fate of the Enterprise B is something that should be addressed. It couldn't have been decommissioned, Excelsior class ships continue on into the late 24th century. We even see one Excelsior class variant with the same modifications as the Enterprise B, the USS Lakota.

That would leave only destruction. But if it were destroyed, that would mean out of the seven Enterprises (NX-01, NCC-1701, A, B, C, D, E) four were destroyed, two decomissioned, and one still in service. Honestly, with those statistics, the name Enterprise seems like a curse and that the ship is likely to be destroyed.

Of course, we could always be smartass and assume for some reason the Enterprise was renamed Lakota...

there's an article at ex astris scientia where some one made that very claim.

I believe the NX-01 is in a musuem, didnt troi visit it as a girl?

correct.

I think they said there was an "NX Class" in the Fleet Museum. But didn't really specify which one if I recall.

We can't just assume the B was destroyed. The ship could have been around for 40 years or something and Starfleet decided to give one of its new 'Ambassador' class ships the famous Enterprise name.
That's kinda how I view it too. I personally think the Enterprise-B had the longest service record of any Federation ship with the name and it was decommissioned after 40-50 years of service. The Enterprise-B may have distinguished herself in a considerable number of missions in both exploration and Federation defense.

Who knows--in the Prime Universe, the Enterprise-B may have been the first to make contact with a then largely unknown alien race called the Cardassians or played a pivotal role in breaking the ice with a new telepathic race called the Betazoids...

Troi was recruited by the Romulans in Face of the Enemy. She was clearly crashing on purpose.

Slight tangent, but it just occurred to me that that would have made a much better Nemesis, if there had been some long dormant Manchurian Candidate style programming in her that caused her to turn during the events of Nemesis. Maybe even pull an Empress Hoshi and kill Shinzon and try to take his place. Couldn't have been much worse than what we got and would've given Troi some much overdue development.

As for the subject at hand, even I've joked about it before, but Troi really does get a bum rap. In both movies the circumstances are beyond her control (in fact, in the second one I'd say she performed well under stress obeying a very difficult command).

No, Riker and Troi do specifically say the NX-01 is in the Fleet Museum in TATV. In fact, the ENT characters even talk about the ship being turned into a museum throughout TATV.
