Has anyone got West Wing on iTunes?

Bit of a long shot, but as the title says.

I really want to watch West Wing, started on the DVDs... then quickly remembered why I stopped last time I attempted this back in 2004! It's so FAST. I was always quite aware of the speed up from NTSC to PAL, but for West Wing it seems particularly pronounced. They run around and sound like chipmunks.

It's not cheap but I'd pay iTunes if the quality is good and the speed is right. But they provide no technical detail on their website which is pathetic.

Does anyone know if it's NTSC? Or if it's been "widescreened" for early seasons?

I do have the first season on iTunes, but I don't really know anything about NTSC or PAL. It looks and sounds normal to me. The West Wing is a lot faster than the vast majority of TV shows, and it's possibly some scenes were actually spread up in the editing process in order to fit network TV length requirements.

I assume by "widescreened" you mean the added black boxes. Those are not present; the iTunes version takes up the whole screen.

As I recall, they would pack as much dialogue as possible into every scene, and you had to really pay attention to keep up.
