Has any one visited the EXPERIENCE this month?

WOW-I went friday night around 7 and it was easy-no long lines at all.I went with Russ(HA?) a buddy from Rd Island! (1st time 4 him-last for me) It was a lil' bit of a bummer.(I was the guy who said -'Jim , he's dead', every so often.(One of the officers on the ride said -'Damnit he's dead Jim' as we walked out.(we were the last two, but it was nice to see some body break charactor! What the hell, 3 days left!)
There was a drag.
A Big thank you to MIKE SWANK for getting me into Trek in 2001! (I started watching TOS in april 67, big fan, but never would give other treks a watch)
I wish Mike was there with us!
Star Trek the EXPERIENCE RIP -McFly

Yes I was there many times. I go to Las Vegas once a year and I always go to the Experience. I was hoping to have my wedding on the bridge of the Enterprise there. My future husband purchased a dress uniform and he wanted to wear it. I think the white dress uniform would have looked wonderful with a white wedding dress that I would wear. I was also there earlier this month for the convention and I stayed a week after. I had hoped to have been there today for the last day. I would like to have seen the closing ceremony. I can only hope that somebody posts a video of it online

Was there on the 28th. Rode both rides 3 times each. Had a "Photon Torpedo" at Quarks. Photographed and taped the hell out of the place. It was just my second time to go, and of course my last. Got to talk to a few of the people working there. They were friendly and happy to share. As I talked with the lady that was directing traffic at the entrance to the rides (at the end of the line, in front of Copernicus Station) it occurred to me: I wonder if this is what it felt like on the set of the TV shows when they were filming the last episodes? Very sad, but glad I was there.

Its 11 pm on the 31st and I just got home from Vegas. The line for the rides was almost to the entrance, I had to wait 20 minutes to be seated at Quarks and this was at 11 am! I spent time reading some of the comments that people had written that had been posted on one of the ramps. One said, "Thank you for the Experience-it was the only thing that could help me forget my problems for a while." Another said, "Please don't close tis. It makes my Daddy reel happy. Maddy, 10." The people were all pleasant but subdued, like at a wake. I chatted with a couple and it was like we were all old friends. I found myself talking with a cab driver who had taken Denise Crosby and her family to the airport once. A bearded giant in an Admiral's uniform from Paducah, Kentucky. A man from Bakersfield who said he drove to Quarks once a week for lunch. A lady who had just been released from the hospital after major surgery on her leg. She could barely walk, even with a cane, but she was there. A pair of sisters in uniform there with their families-including a baby in a classic Trek command uniform-modified into a onesy. It was an experience I won't soon forget.

We were going to go just Saturday and leave Sunday (to beat traffic.) We couldn't get in the bar Saturday, but went around 12:30 Sunday to see if we could before leaving. Once we got parked at the bar, we just COULDN'T leave! Every conversation we had was so energized and connected, that we made phone calls from the bar in order to extend our stay. Quarks this weekend was a time we'll never forget!

I really wish we could've stayed until closing night, but that just wasn't possible. :(

I'm just so sad.

I could go for a Warp Core Breach right now. I'll at least do a shot in honor of the Experience.

I had one small one toshare...but just one! As many times as I have been, I had never seen that many WCB's ordered!

I understand that on Saturday a guy had to be wheeled out in a wheelchair, he was so drunk/sick.
