According to a recent Tweet by Alan Martin, the writer of the Tank Girl comics, Margot Robbie's production company has acquired the rights to the character, and are already "several months" into development on a new movie. There has been no word yet if Robbie will be playing the character herself.
I haven't checked out any Tank Girl stuff yet, but it is one of the many series I plan to, and I loved Margot Robbie in Suicide Squad, so I'm very curious about this.
