I still have 14 hours to go of 2021. Happy New Year
11 and a half hours to go, but why wait?
It's currently 6 PM and thus still 2021. But I'll be hopefully long asleep by the new year since I have to get up very early tomorrow for work. In fact, because of that we have to stay overnight at my parents just so I can sleep.
We unfortunately live in a neighborhood with inconsiderate party people and even on a regular week are subjected to loud music once every week or two. I know from years past New Years Eve will be ten times worse with the neverending supply of fireworks added to the thumping bass.
So having to flee our own home is the only way I'll get any sleep.
I really wish 2022 will be the year we can move but I doubt it.
But to all my Trekbbs friends, hopefully you all have a most excellent New Year.

Doubt 2022 will be any better. Not as long as Covid and it's associated Covidiots are still hanging around like an albatross on our necks.
