Even better omen for 2013: my office neighbour (remember? the annoying prankster) is moving. He gets a new office upstairs. I'm curious who'll get his old one. It's quite big and I suppose they'll put 2 or 3 people in there. Hopefully, nice and quiet ones (the wall is very thin)

We did indeed. A species invasive to the US which happens to be an old (and actually very tasty) European remedy against coughs: the narrow-leafed ribwort http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plantago_lanceolata
For a sore throat I recommend the good old malt candy. Works miracles.

As did I, last of the x-mas cookies I think, and then I had to set up loads of stuff on my parents new toys (dads ipad and mums galaxy S III) and do some housekeeping on their PC (remove tool-bars mostly) and notebook (software updates mostly)... Oh yeah, what a happy new year: I now have to get to know about both Android, Apple and a Windows version newer than my own just to be able to help my parentsI got cookies too, today
