Here is a photo of my Christmas haul. The giant mushroom is from my No 1 son and is destined fo the back garden, as are the family of birds which came from my No 2 son.
The black cats are from a friend, who also bought me the nesting wolves. Another friend bought me the little glass apple, and the little glass stopwatch (a little difficult to make what they are in the photo).
Every Xmas my mother used to give me $100 to buy something for myself. She died and June so I bought the Calvin and Hobbes collection out of the inheritance I got from Mum and gave it to myself in memory of her.
I bought the real Miss Chicken a cat massage centre which she has totally ignored.

I forgot that I lose control of the computer to Santa tracking for all of Christmas eve
He's crossing the Atlantic at the moment so I have a free minute.
In five minutes young master trampledamage goes to bed, then the little miss and then it's tidy up and wrap final presents for tomorrow.

Merry Christmas to everyone. Been a relaxing day. The turkey was yum. About to have some cheesecake soon.
We had a Chocolate Ripple Yule Log for desert.
If anyone is interested this is what a Chocolate Ripple Yule Log is meant to look like

Winter Solstice, Saturnalia, Hannukah, Kwanzaa, Christmas, or just a time to spend with your family, maybe eating foods you don't get to eat very often, seeing old friends, making new ones, giving a stranger on the street a moment's consideration, contemplating past holidays as a child, loving your neighbor. Lots of wonderful reasons for the season.
