Tomorrow marks the fiftieth anniversary of the September 8, 1966 telecast of "The Man Trap", the episode that started it all. Happy Birthday, Star Trek!

It was a matter of compositional balance, honestly. If I had a JJ-A, or maybe even a high-res NX-01, things would've shifted around. My first instinct was to have the TOS version at the tip of the arrow, but it ended up making the most sense to mirror the movie and TV ships for TOS and TNG.
