So with the bitter/twisted thread reminding me of some bad things in my life, I thought we needed something to counter it. So share with me some of the happiest moments in your life.

Usually I enjoy smaller, more unimportant moments in my life that make me happy. But since MetalPants asked for the happiest one I go with this:
graduating from university.
As for the smaller, happy moments I remember one foggy day last year when I went jogging. I was the only one in the forrest - at least that's what I thought. Suddenly a deer came out of the woods and stood five meters in front of me on the path. We looked at each other and I'm sure we both thought something like: "Hey, what are you doing here? I thought I was alone..." It was amazing, because I had never seen one so close. I didn't even dare to move. After 15 seconds or so it jumped back into the woods. As such the encounter was nothing special but if I think about it, it still makes me happy today.

I'd have to say, sitting with the Bleacher Creatures at Yankee Stadium.
Take a look at this video of them. I have never had so much fun in my life. It's great to see a good game by your favorite team, but when you can do it with a bunch of really cool fellow fans, it's even more fun.
(BTW, even though I am in this group, you can't actually see me because I'm out of camera range. I'm sitting about three or four rows behind the shouting bald guy.)

When i get really warm, genuine, loving hugs from my kids. Those moments are the best!
My wedding day (just about everyone I loved was there, many having come from several states away to be there); the day my wife-to-be accepted my proposal; the births of my girls and my grandson; the day my second daughter was declared cancer-free after nearly a year of chemotherapy.
There was something really special about my wedding day (in addition to, you know, marrying the love of my life). The groomsmen standing with me were people I had known since I was about five years old. We literally grew up together. And this marked the first time all five of us had been together at the same time since the summer after our freshman year of college.
It's also the last time all five of us have been together.
