Actually enjoyed the latest episode, although sometimes the camera just lingers too long for the intended effect of the close-up or whatever.
I think NBC likes the show, and it seems like maybe they are talking to DirectTV about doing another FNL style deal. It's the only reason I see for not just canceling the show already.

Nielsen ratings are rubbish anyway and have been outdated for ages.I'm surprised. I expected it to get canceled. I guess it's critical acclaim got it renewed because the ratings suck. I guess another reason for the renewal is that it's an international co-production so NBC only pays for part of it so it's somewhat cheap for them.
Though it has struggled in the ratings on Thursday nights, where last week it did a 1.0 rating in adults 18-49 and about 2.7 million viewers overall, it has been an especially strong performer in DVR playback. Also, with a median age of 45.6, it is the youngest-skewing drama on ABC, CBS or NBC.
