Ham, egg and chips

Ham, egg and chips. It's a yummy idea, it looks good, it tastes great so why do I regret eating it now:(. All I have is a grease lined mouth and a smelly flat. It's just not worth it. What other foods leave a nasty aftertaste?

I happen to love celery when slathered in buffalo wing sauce or peanut butter . . . not at the same time of course!

Generally when I eat too much of anything I'm feeling like that. ;)
[unless it's Sushi, I think I could literally eat that until my stomach bursts]

I don't eat any animal products, so my intake of protein and fats is relatively low, and I seem to benefit from that because I don't put on much weight when I do choose to over indulge. I just don't enjoy greasy or strong smelling foods anyway. Oven chips I enjoy maybe once a week or once per two weeks, but those give more of a warm roasty scent than a lingering greasy food smell, don't they?

Foods that leave me with a nasty aftertaste? ... Not many really. But strangely, if I include runner beans in a meal, sometimes it leaves my mouth coated with a horrible starchy texture. That's about the only thing that springs to mind. :)

are you fit?

Probably french fries. They're delicious fried goodness when you're eating them... but then you stop and you just feel gross.

All you need next is a nasty Scotch egg to generate enough gas to break it all down...

Failing that, try some spam... :klingon:

Me, I wouldn't go near any of that food. Apart from the chips, maybe, but never in isolation.

My old favorites which I can't eat anymore:

* A bacon, egg, cheese and maple syrup waffle sandwich.

* Malt Vinegar covered fries with ketchup and sea salt.

* A toasted cheese sandwich with tomato soup and oyster crackers.

I love ham.

I love eggs (scrambled).

I love chips (Pringles).

Therefore, ham, eggs *and* chips is teh awesome.

Not quite as good as a few hot dogs at a baseball park, but close!

Nothing wrong with the ham/egg/chips, though here it's more likely to be some nice thick sliced side bacon with eggs and some home fries with some red pepper, red onion, garlic and a handful of spices (parsley/basil etc) :)

As for foods that leave an odd aftertaste...I can't eat turnip because of the after taste. Just hate it and the weird, almost greasy, sensation it leaves in my mouth.

Biscuits topped with either sausage gravy or country ham and red-eye gravy. I'll crave it, give in, binge on it, then spend the rest of the day regretting it and drinking a lot of water.
