Guys, who's your favorite Trek female?

Probably overall Kira, helped by the fact that Nana Visitor is awesome and so friendly and engaged at conventions.
However, I will always hold a flame for Ezri. She was a breath of fresh air, and while she didn't get the best stories, Nicole played her to perfection. It was also a strangely novel idea for a franchise on by that point its second main cast therapist character to have them engage in some actual therapy.

Arlene Martel as T'Pring. Proving conclusively that Vulcan women can be just as deceitful and conniving as women anywhere else.
I like T'Pring, Spock screwed her over by running off to space so she made sure she got hers. She was an abandoned wife.

TOS- Yeoman Rand, T'Pring, Sylvia, Deela

TNG- Robin Leoffler, Nechayev

DS9- T'Rul, Ziyal #1

Voy- Seska, Q, Tal Celes

Ent- Crewman Cutler, Captain Hernandez(and Hoshi)

Kira is probably my number one favorite , it helps that ds9 is my favorite series ; I loved her arc and her realtionship with Odo , she maintained her strength even as she grew past her rage .
I have to mention Janeway as a close second , Kate Mulgrew played her with an incredible determination that I found riveting ; she's my favorite too I just found her writing to be weaker then Kira's

I see Major Kira is getting a lot of love, and I can't argue the point. I think I'd put her on my Top Ten list, too.

Years back, I posed this same question to a friend of mine. He asked if I meant actress or character, because if it was actress, then he'd pick Ashley Judd (played Robin Lefler). But if I meant character, his pick was, and this is a direct quote: "Alternate-Universe Kire Nerys. Yeaaah Baby." Hard to miss where his brain was at.

Not prettiest.

Let's not rank women by their perceived physical attractiveness.

It's 2017, for Corn's sake.

Hear hear!!!

As for me, Nana Visitor/Kira Nerys. A wonderful actress, with a broad range. Also one of the best developed charactes in all of Trek, and really a great rolemodel if you ask me. And yes, Nana is a beautiful woman, with a gorgeous smile, I'm not denying that. But it's not the reason why she's my favorite out of all the female characters. Hell, she might very well be my favorite character in all of Trek. But she helped so much in showing us that female characters on tv can be so much more than either eye candy or he 'tough cookie'. She was multi-faceted. Strong, but also able of showing her softer side when she wanted to. Serieus when needed, playful when she wanted to be. Loving and caring, but also a tough leader who would not hesitate to call someone out. Devoted and loyal. Willing to admit when she's wrong, uncomprimising when she knows she's right. All in all, a shining example of what happens when writers understand how to write a woman; as a person!

Even though I didn't really like Voyager, I have to say Captain Janeway. She was hard when she needed to be , but also someone who listened and was likeable. In fact I'd say Voyager had the best female cast of all the Trek series. I only wish that their show had a better writing staff
