I'm throwing this thread out here because there's bound to be bountiful media coverage of the game emerging from Gamescom (<1wk) and PAX (~2wks) as journos and other attendees have their first chance to actually sit down with the game.

Guild Wars 2 just took home the Gamescom award for best online title at the show. Other nominees for the award were Poisonville, Black Prophecy, Star Wars: The Old Republic and World of Warcraft: Cataclysm.
