Grimm (NBC) Season 1 Discussion *Spoilers!*

I really enjoyed the episode, although I do agree that Hitler thing might have been a little over the top. Really enjoyed seeing the Man in Black from Lost. I'm wondering if the coins were a one time thing, if they'll be playing some kind of role in the building story arc.
 
Juliette gets the coins and her character gets more interesting. :vulcan:
 
I was just thinking, I would love if after all of these complaints about how useless she's been, if it turned out that Nick's girlfriend (Juliette?) was the Captain's boss or some other kind of big bad.
 
They can phase her out. After all, Barney Miller had a wife when that show started, and the show improved when they dropped her character.

I watched Quarterlife recently where I thought she had quite some range.
 
If you're talking about the actress who plays the girlfriend, I have nothing against her. She's done a fine job with what she's been given, but the stuff she's been given just hasn't been that interesting in most of the episodes.

Fire dancing girl was hot. :drool:

Loved Nick and Monrow going off to rescue the damsel in distress from the evil fire breathing dragon bit.

Nick and Monroe in the club were hilarious.

A dead beheaded Grimm found in Europe. Must be the Reapers. Is it a one off or are they now hunting Grimms?
 
This show has definitely improved since they upped Nick's intensity. He's a stronger presence in scenes and he plays off Monroe's sardonic humor better too.

Ratings still solid from last week.

The long term trendline is here, in lovely chartreuse.

I think Juliet is on her way out of the show. Other than being the damsel in distress and someone for Nick to keep secrets from, her role in the story is pretty thin. Having Nick's personal life destroyed because of his Grimm-ness could be a good pivot for the story, to up the stakes for S2, now that he's had to sacrifice that much.

Seems like 5 minutes ago she was the tiny little daughter on Shark.
 
I was hoping Grimm and cute dragon girl would hook-up. :( :lol: Nick and Monroe are hilarious in any situation. :)
 
Not really surprising. It's doing better than any of their new dramas and I'm sure that they wanted to renew at least one of the shows that premiered this season.
 
is the fire dancing girl going to be a new antagonist for the show?

I know the blonde girl is back tonight.
 
The case of the week wasn't all that interesting...downright boring actually. Though I did like that it involved the murder of a previously seen character (albeit a barely seen one). It was a nice bit of continuity.

The more interesting part if Renard getting Adalind to put Hank under a spell so he'd fall in love with her. Apparently being hot isn't enough to get him into her because he doesn't want to take advantage since he did save her life. I'm not sure why Renard is doing this to Hank though. What purpose does it serve?

For someone who doesn't like guns Juliet sure was a good shot.

Looks like Monroe is getting a love interest in the form of the dead spice shop guy's cute sister.
