ELP was one of my "go-tos" when I was growing up. I really discovered them in the 80s when I was a teen and was just getting into Prog with the likes of Rush, Marillion and Yes.

Coming on the heels of Keith Emerson's suicide, this is horribly tragic.

It's actually hitting me harder than I thought it would as I type this.
Fare thee well, Mr. Lake, as you take your rightful place in the Court of the Crimson King.

I remember watching the Japan concert when it first ran on MTV.. I was a huge Asia fan, but before the days of internet, I had no idea that John Wetton had left the bad.. My young, tweenaged mind was so confused.
 
RIP Greg.
