Green Screen Enterprise Pic Received on Cellphone

You know, when they make cosmetic changes to a ship, they're supposed to make it look better. It wouldn't be against a blue screen... I have a hard time seeing them go back to models. I'm banking on it being a fake.

We've got a "boy who cried wolf" situation brewing here. By the time someone does get a shot of the ship I'm gonna be too jaded to believe it and won't click through.

Yeah, that pic is of a (poor) illustration, not a model.

Also, unless you did some photo editing before posting it that's onviously no cellphone pic due to it's aspect ratio, dimensions, and lack of camera specific metadata.

this has to be a joke. just as i thought that the pine uni pic was bad this has outdone even that bad visual.

i hope that this is all an attempt @ humor...

Abrams wants this film to feel and look as real as possible.

So I'm convinced. Behold the new Enterprise !!!

Look, we're going to see HINTS of the "E" in the preview trailer... but they're not going to do a full reveal. That'd be silly, after all, wouldn't it?

In fact, I wouldn't be a bit surprised if all we see is the shadow of the Enterprise moving over something else.

For us, here, seeing the bit "E" is what the highlight of the preview will be... but understand, most audiences aren't as into this as we are. So the preview will... MUST... have actual... gasp... HUMAN ACTIVITY at its core. (Or, rather, humanOID)

I imagine the "hinting at Enterprise" bit... a shadow, for instance... to be the last few frames before they pop up the title and the "coming Christmas 2008" bit.

oh it's a laugh a minute here. Saw this exact same design flying in and out of mushroom shaped clouds last weekend actually! :rommie:

And this is why Romulan Ale is illegal in Starfleet.

Looks to me like somebody might have been messing with the Animated TV enterprise.
