If they're going to be casting an "old guy" like Jackie, maybe that this means that they are planning on telling THE story of Hal Jordan rather that lackluster origin again which has been in two cartoon movies over the last 2 years...

Emerald twilight.

Hal Jordan has a nervous breakdown and begins cutting off his "friends" hands to get their rings till he finally takes down the Guardians themselves.

Couldnt disagree more..I thought the last GL cartoon was a perfect template for a movie. And if they make GL another one of these 'morally' gray Marvel types, it will flop....
