Green house idea

I will look for something other than LEDs, because they look blue when lit.(I work with cars, thats the only kind of LED i see so excuse me I don't know alot about them)

I came up a new idea for the bins attached to my gutters.
These might be out there, I just haven't looked.
The bins would be wider then they are tall.
Inside the bins there are sticks with filters attached to them.
These filters are kinda like the ones attached to your sink, they trap gas molecules not naturally in water, trap bacteria and viruses, trap and debris that get into the gutter, bugs, etc.
These filters are then slowly spun around the bin so that they filter better and so that the water doesn't become stagnant.
Then the water is drained to the pool during summer and or in the house.
The bins that are around the yard that capture any water not hitting the gutters, are wider but still have the same design just wider and have a filter system below them that just cleans the water.
Thats my new design. enjoy.

Yeah well that exact design might not be around the idea however is, but I still intend to use it.

I figure if I buy more land in back I can fit more fans and panels on one of those huge metal barns. I figure i can also put a bigger decomposer in the back as well. But I would like to see if there is a small filter screen I can put on the top to stop or lessen the smell. One of the fastest ways to piss of a neighbor, constantly have a crap smell come into their house.

Minimum of two stories and the only things above ground are the garage and front door. A concrete pad holds the solar panels used to generate electricity.

My "green house" would be underground or built into the side of a hill, with only the "hot-house" extension showing.

The "hot-house" would be a glass enclosure containing the hot-tub and hundreds of plants of various kinds for air filtration assistance.

The utilities would be above-ground and consist of a half acre of solar panels and a decent windmill. I would also have a a combustion engine generator, a diesel engine with modern ceramic filter technology.

Diesel engines have the advantage of being able to burn damn near anything if you mix it with the fuel. Fryer oil, used motor oil, waste solvents, biomass-derived fuels.

Heat would be a combination of electric baseboard heat powered off my utility system and a supplmental "wood/coal hot-water furnace." My grandfather had one... He burned a combination of waste-newspaper "logs" he made himself, coal and waste lumber.

In addition to the insulation value of the surrounding earth, the gap between the walls would be filled with traditional insulation, and the gap between the outer wall and the earth would be filled with shredded tires.

I would pull my water from an aquifer, and also have a cistern for collecting rainwater. I would have a filter system in place for both systems. Reverse osmosis, UV and charcoal.

I just discovered something about L-E-Ds that takes them off the list for my growing room. Turn your lamp on over your desk let it run for 2hr touch the roof of it. It will be HOT, you actually feel like you just got burnt, its just puts off to much heat.

I don't believe it -something's wrong somewhere

LEDs are known for not becoming 'hot' when lit. I, in fact, unscrew the lamp every night in my desk light -it's LED and rarely feels hotter than the skin on my fingers.
LED-grow lights might be a different story though, I've never worked with those.
