Not a "great" moment by any stretch, but a memorable one was when a troll opened a boatload of threads with the title "T'Bonz is a c***" so that the main page was covered in them. Classy. Sheesh.

LOL. I got 13 or so emails from Slarus once with that title. Just another day on the BBS.

The board was so much smaller back then (1999-2000), with only a few hundred members IIRC. Certainly made for some interesting dynamics between some of the above.

Someone further back mentioned Tamek. Gosh, how did I forget that saga? IIRC, he was the only person I nominated for a mod position. Good job there.

People like me need threads like this to remember half the shit that's happened here.

And then there were startrekwatcher and NTT (Non-Trekkie Trekker) and their own patented brands of idiocy and trolling. NTT went out in one of the most memorable flameouts and meltdowns in board history, one that few before or since have equalled or surpassed.

Squiggy even posted a threadbomb to honor the event.
