I miss Batboy too - and Hulk.Rhubarbodendron misses Freakish American Batboy terriblyBatboy was a good batboy and one of the nicest posters ever. Batboy was last heard of planning to marry someone who apparently rescued Batboy from the lair of some evil scientist. Rhubarbodendron wishes Batboy all happiness with his Batwife and lots of intelligent and well-behaved Batkids!
The Grog mod and the wars in the lounges, the Ignored thread(s) in Misc, the beginning if the joke thread in Misc; when it was a thread bomb thread, the 300 thread (or did that happen in the bomb-thread?)...

I'm trying to remember what prompted that. I remember the thread and I remember one of us lost a bet, but beyond that I'm lost.

This is entertaining, even though I don't know most of these, but it's still nice to see so many people remember time here.
I've searched YouTube to try and find 005's L&O-inspired TBBS videos (and his riff on Sopranos) but they all seem to have been taken down.

MadBaggins and Jayson were definitely highlights as was Holdfast's confession thread.
In terms of posters, there are some I very much miss, like James Bond, but some of the people I like the most, RobertMaxwell, Kestra, IndyJones, Ancient Mariner, are all posting now so it's quite nice.

Yeah, most of the people I like are still posting, as well. I generally miss the more educated and erudite folks who used to post in TNZ, like Lumen and Goliath. There are some people I like who never really post here anymore, but then I talk to them off the forum so it's all good. (I just met up with Adm_Hawthorne recently, for instance.)
